-
What size is suitable and how do I choose?
Dwarf hamsters (Robo/Russian) fit S/M, while larger Syrian hamsters need M/L. We recommend the largest size your cage allows; a bigger wheel ensures a straight spine and a more natural, comfortable run.
-
Does the wheel require assembly?
No, the wheel comes fully pre-assembled and ready for immediate use. Each unit undergoes a strict integrity check and spin test before shipping. Simply adjust the height to fit your cage and your pet is ready to run!
-
What is the actual running width of the wheel?
You can find the precise running width for each model in our size chart images. Our wheels are built with a generous surface area to accommodate different hamster sizes, ensuring they can run freely and comfortably.
-
Is the running surface smooth and safe for my pet’s feet?
Yes. Our premium carbonized bamboo is polished through multiple stages to ensure a snag-free, silky-smooth finish. This refined surface protects delicate paws while providing stable, slip-resistant support for a comfortable run
-
What are the benefits of the dual-bearing system?
Unlike single-bearing wheels, our dual-bearing system uses two high-quality, quiet bearings to distribute weight. It enhances stability, ensures smooth rotation, and extends lifespan for reliable, long-term performance.
- Full-Size for Adult Syrians and Rats: The 11-inch diameter is the established minimum for adult Syrian hamsters. No arched back, no neck strain — just a flat, open running plane. Also properly sized for adult rats and hedgehogs that need a solid surface under their full body weight.
- Flat Bamboo Surface, Zero Curve: The running track is wide and flat, not a U-shaped trough. Paws land evenly, the spine stays level, and the animal runs with the same posture as on solid ground. This is the structural difference between a wheel that accommodates anatomy and one that slowly distorts it.
- Dual-Bearing Silence Under Load: Larger animals exert more force on wheel bearings. The ZulBozz dual-bearing system is specced for the weight of a full-grown Syrian or rat — no sag, no drag, no plastic spindle whine that intensifies after two months of nightly use.
- Heavy Bamboo Base — No Tip, No Slide: The weighted bamboo platform stays planted even when a 200-gram Syrian sprints. The wide stance distributes force across loose bedding, and the natural wood texture grips paper substrate better than smooth plastic feet. Sits securely beside large hideouts, water bowls, food stations, and climbing platforms.
- 3.7" Adjustable Clearance for Deep Bedding: Raise the wheel to clear thick layers of paper or aspen bedding — no buried base, no jammed rotation. The lift-off body detaches for cleaning in seconds. Designed to coexist with elaborate naturalistic setups that include cork logs, branch perches, ceramic water dispensers, and multi-level platforms.
