    • Can this be installed on drywall?

      Stud wall installation only, not suitable for drywall. Fits standard 16-inch stud spacing. Stud fixings bear the full load safely, drywall alone cannot support a cat's weight and movement over time. All fixings and a video guide are included.

    • How far apart should I space the shelves and steps?

      We recommend spacing shelves 12 to 16 inches apart vertically and steps 16 inches apart horizontally. This gives most cats a comfortable climbing stride. Starting near furniture with a staggered layout creates an easy climbing path.

    • Is this suitable for large or heavy cats?

      Each piece supports up to 35 lbs when installed into wall studs — suitable for Maine Coons, Ragdolls and Norwegian Forest Cats. The 21 x 18.5 inch hammock comfortably fits two average-sized cats.

    • How does the cushion come off for washing?

      The cotton canvas cushion slips off the frame — no zip, no cover. The whole cushion can be hand washed. Replacement cushions are available separately from our store.
