What if I accidentally misoperation cut the zip ties before installation?
No worries. Simply use zip ties to re-tighten the two side frames near the latch before installing the gate. Once tightened, proceed with the installation as instructed.
-
Is it normal to see a gap between the latch and the frame before installation?
Yes. Gaps between the latch and the frame are normal and will be resolved after installation.
-
How much gap should remain after installation?
After installation, the gap between the latch and the frame should be less than 2 mm (0.08"). If the gap is larger, tighten the adjustment bolts until the gate is properly aligned.

There are no threads in the adjustment holes. Is that normal?

Will pressure mounting damage my walls?
No. The included Soft Wall Protectors help distribute pressure evenly, providing a secure fit while helping protect your walls from marks and everyday wear. It's ideal for both homeowners and renters.
