Silicone rubber have much better resistance to heat, light, and ozone than unsaturated rubbers such as natural rubber, PVC, SBR, or neoprene (polychloroprene). This makes it suitable to be utilized in external harsh environments and can be used outdoors for many years or decades without degradation. Our U channel Rubber Edge Trim can be widely used in automotive, chemical, instrumentation, machinery and daily necessities. For example: edge protection or sealing of furniture, electronic appliances, fish tanks, car doors, gas stoves, roofs, shelves, stairs, cabinets, barbecue grills and other equipment.

Why Choose Silicone Material Not PVC?
1. Silicone products are more cold-resistant and more heat-resistant than PVC products. Just like tableware made of silicone can be heated in a microwave, while PVC can’t.
2. Silicone products are not easily broken down by ultraviolet light and ozone.
3. Silicon has better thermal stability, radiation resistance and weather resistance than other polymer materials. The service life of silicon in a natural environment can reach several years but the PVC product only can last several months.
4. Silicon products have high thermal stability, and the chemical bonds of molecules do not break or decompose under high temperatures.
5. Silicone is resistant to high and low temperatures and can be used over a wide range of temperatures but the PVC will arc decompose at high temperature of 140F.
Easy To Install
Step 1
Insert the part into the slot of the edge trim.
Step 2
Remove the film from the head of the trim by your fingernail or tweezer
Step 3
Remove one side film from the edge trim to let the edge trim stick on the part
Step 4
Remove the other side film to let the edge trim completely stick on the part
- Self-Adhesive Edge Trim: This U channel edge trim can be installed directly without glue as it's self-adhesive trim; The glue on the edge trim is easy to remove and does not corrode the product, no marks will remain on the product after removing the edge trim
- Easy To Cut: This rubber edge trim can be easily cut with scissors and is flexible enough to bend into tight corners and complex angles.
- Application: The edge trims can used to cover the edges of all the sheet parts to prevent people been hurt by the shape edges, it can fit edge from 3/32" to 5/32".
- Material: Silicone Rubber, durable and not easy to age, extremely hard wearing and washable.
- Heat Resistance Material: Temperature ratings -60°F to +320°F, available for outdoor use, it's sun-proof and water-proof.
