How It Works

1. Test the unit: Turn on the power source. The light should turn on immediately — this confirms the unit is working.

2.Warm-up cycle: After power-on, the light stays on for about 30 seconds (this happens regardless of day or night). Once the warm-up ends, the built-in sensor takes over and enters Auto Mode.

3.Auto Mode operation:

Light turns ON when ambient brightness drops below 30 Lux.

Light turns OFF when ambient brightness exceeds 80 Lux.

Built-in Sensor Cap

Keep the light in auto dusk-to-dawn mode for daily convenience, or cover the sensor with the cap to bypass the sensor and keep the light on constantly — ideal for gatherings, outdoor events, or any time you need steady illumination.

Installation Notes

  • Keep at least 3.3 ft (1 m) from walls/large surfaces. Too close may reflect light and cause flickering.
  • Avoid aiming other lights at sensor head — direct light disrupts operation.
  • Note: Dusk-to-dawn only, no motion sensing. Confirm needs before purchase.

  • Is this a motion sensor light or a dusk to dawn light?

    This is a dusk to dawn (photocell) light, not motion sensor. It turns on at dusk, off at dawn. No motion detection. If you need motion sensing, do not buy this.

  • Does this light need to be plugged in, or is it solar powered?

    This is a plug-in light. Requires a standard outdoor outlet (110-120V). Not solar powered, no battery. Please ensure an outlet is within reach before ordering. IP55 weatherproof for rain/snow.
