Is this one stick or a pair? Can seniors use it for daily walking?
You will receive 1 single solid wood stick, not a pair. Lots of customers use it as a daily cane for seniors. Length cannot be adjusted internally; manual cutting is at your own risk.
-
Is it solid one piece wood? What weight can it support?
It is crafted from a single whole natural wood with no glued joints. More suitable for most adults under 250 lbs for hiking and daily walking. It can withstand a vertical load of 220lbs and a horizontal load of 110 lbs.
-
How heavy is this hiking stick?
The weight of a wooden hiking stick inevitably varies to a certain degree due to factors including differences in diameter and density of natural timber. The detailed weight of each hiking stick can be found in the listing images.
-
Can I get replacement rubber tips when the bottom ferrule wears out?
Yes. Look for replacement rubber tips with 20 mm inner diameter and 32 mm depth. And the rubber tip replacement from FOREST PILOT will be launched for sale on Amazon by the end of 2026.
-
Will rain or wet conditions damage the wooden cane?
It has waterproof polyurethane coating for outdoor humidity. Wipe dry after wet trail use. But do not put it into water for a long time, to avoid coating and wood damage.
