How long does the weather clock usually take to connect to WWVB?
Calibration typically takes 8-10 minutes. While connecting to WWVB, none of the buttons will work, and the backlight will not turn on.
-
Why does my outdoor sensor lose connection or show "--" on the main unit?
Signal loss is usually due to distance or interference:
Distance: Max range is 200ft (60m) in open areas.
Obstacles: Each wall/floor equals ~50ft of signal loss.
Shielding: Keep units away from large metal objects.
Vertical mounting helps.
-
Why is the temperature not accurate?
1. Make sure the station and sensor are placed out of direct sunlight and away from any heat or moisture sources
2. If the placement changed (such as bringing the sensor from outside to inside in winter), it needs several hours to calibrate
-
Does it work during power outages?
If the device is powered solely by an adapter, it won’t function properly during a power outage, so we recommend including a battery as well. That way, data won’t be lost in the event of a power outage.
-
If the product malfunctions after I've been using it for a while, how should I contact you?
Don’t worry about after-sales issues—our company has a professional, local team, and we offer a one-year and free returns and exchanges within 30 days.
