Replace the latch on that Kwikset deadbolt with this 5-inch dead-latch for continued security. Used with entry function knobs and levers where a 5-inch backset is present, as with many older homes, this replacement part fits all 5-inch Kwikset deadbolt mechanisms with square-cornered mortising. The latch is finished to match Kwikset polished brass knobs and levers. Easy to install, the purchase is backed by 10-year mechanical and 5-year finish warranties. --Brian D. Olson
