Slight deformation from folded shipping is normal. Just stuff it with towels or toys for 24–48 hours and it will bounce back — or steam-iron the creases on low heat for faster results. No permanent marks will remain.

My cat loves scratching — will this basket unravel? Is it safe for cats?
It's tightly woven from 100% natural cotton rope — no wire, no odor, gentle on paws and mouths. One buyer's cats used it as a scratching post for 3 years with only minor surface fuzzing, no unraveling at all.

How do I clean the cat basket? Is it machine washable?
Use a lint roller or vacuum for pet hair; wipe stains with a damp cloth and mild detergent, or hand wash cold and air dry flat. Machine washing and drying are not recommended to keep its shape.
