Step 1: Insert One End of the Hoop into the Soil
Choose the position where you want to install the garden hoop. Insert one end of the fiberglass rod firmly into the soil, pushing it down several inches to ensure a stable base. Make sure the rod is standing upright and secure before moving to the next step.
Step 2: Connect Fiberglass Rods with the Connector
Attach another fiberglass rod to the first one using the galvanized/aluminum connector. Push the rods fully into the connector to ensure a tight and secure connection. Add more rods if needed to achieve the desired hoop height and width.
Step 3: Bend the Hoop and Insert the Other End
Slowly and evenly bend the connected fiberglass rods into an arch shape. Insert the opposite end of the hoop into the soil on the other side of the garden bed. Adjust the position so the hoop is balanced and forms a smooth, even curve.
Step 4: Secure the Covering with Clips
Place your row cover, insect netting, frost cloth, or plastic film over the hoops. Use the included clips to secure the covering to the hoops, making sure it is evenly stretched and firmly attached. This helps keep the cover in place and protects plants from wind, insects, frost, or strong sunlight.
