Installation Location

- Do not install the baby gate at the top or middle of a staircase.
- Please install the baby gate at the bottom of a staircase.
- Retractable baby gate can be installed inside/outside opening or doorway, please install the Catch Mounts as shown in the picture.

Note:
- When installing, please prepare a marker pen and an electric drill tool to facilitate the better installation.
- Please install the secure baby/pet gates according to the instruction.
- This product is fitted for installing on the flat, hard wall or solid wood only.
- This wide stair gate is suitable for the children from the age of 6 to 24 months and pets from 10 lbs to 40 lbs (4.5 kg to 18 kg).

- ONE-HAND, TWO-STEP OPERATION: Turn the top knob in the indicated direction, then slide the control toward the unlock or lock position. The two-step mechanism helps reduce accidental opening while remaining convenient for adults to operate with one hand.
- NO BOTTOM BAR AND ADJUSTABLE MOUNTS: Walk through without stepping over a fixed floor bar. Adjustable upper and lower mounting hardware is designed to accommodate many baseboard configurations. This is a hardware-mounted gate; drilling and adult installation are required.
- FOR CHILDREN AND PETS: Designed for children 6–24 months and pets weighing up to 50 lb. Follow the included instructions, secure every mounting point, and inspect the latch, hooks, mesh, and bottom clearance before each use. This product is not a substitute for adult supervision.
