Is the stretch material strong enough? I'm worried it might tear easily when putting it on a large couch.
Yes, reviews confirm the fabric is strong and elastic. It stretches well to fit large couches without feeling thin or prone to ripping, pleasing users with heavy furniture.
-
How well does this hold up against cat scratches and pet hair?
Excellently. The thick jacquard fabric resists cat scratches and punctures. Pet hair also doesn't embed deeply and is easy to vacuum or brush off, as per many reviews.
-
Can you confirm if it's truly machine washable? Does it shrink or lose its shape?
Yes, it's machine washable. Washing in cold water on a gentle cycle and tumble drying low minimizes shrinkage and helps the elastic retain its stretch.
-
Does the bottom have a good non-slip grip? I don't want it sliding around.
The non-slip dots are highly effective for most fabrics, keeping the cover secure. For very smooth leather sofas, some users recommend an extra non-slip pad for utmost security.
-
Will this fit a couch with attached back cushions?
Yes, it's designed for both attached and loose back cushions. The stretchy fabric contours well over attached cushions, providing a neat, tailored look without looking too tight.
