1. Can my dog really not back out of this harness?
A two-strap harness can slide forward and off when a dog backs up hard. The Trail Leap adds a third strap as a backup. It wraps the narrower part of the body behind the ribs, so even if the first two straps slip, it cannot slide past the rib cage.

2. Are magnetic buckles really secure enough for the trail?
Yes. It has two magnetic buckles, both on the left side. The magnets only guide each buckle into place. Once it clicks, a built-in mechanical lock holds up to 450 lbs of pulling force, even on rough trails. We never compromise on safety.

3. With three straps, is it a hassle to put on?
It takes a few more steps, but you gain security. Guide the right front leg between the first and second straps, then slip the harness over your dog's head. Wrap the second and third straps under the belly and snap both buckles on the left side.

4. Why do the padded panels feel so thick and firm?
That is by design. The chest and back panels are filled with cushioning, so the harness keeps its shape and will not tear under heavy force. We also embedded webbing at key stress points for strength and lined it with mesh fabric so air can flow.

5. Is the handle strong enough to lift my dog?
Yes. The padded handle is built to help you lift, steady, or guide your dog over rocks, logs, and steep steps. The padding keeps it comfortable in your hand, even when you are carrying part of your dog's weight.
