Why does the screen dim automatically?
1. Wait for brightness to return as the unit finishes WWVB signal sync.
2. Connect the included adapter, as battery‑only use dims the screen to save power.
3. Raise the brightness level if the backlight is set too low.

Why can’t the outdoor remote sensor connect to the main display unit?
1. Set sensor’s DIP‑switch to match the main unit’s channel.
2. Max 200 ft open‑area transmission range; each wall cuts range by 50 ft. Avoid metal interference.
3. Press‑hold the main unit’s DOWN key while pressing the sensor’s TX key to re‑pair.

Why is the displayed time incorrect?
1. Wrong time zone selected: Reconfigure your local time zone.
2. Daylight Saving Time (DST) function is disabled: Turn on the DST setting.
3. Your region does not observe Daylight Saving Time: Switch off the DST function.

Why do sensor channels keep switching automatically?
A cycle icon will appear next to the channel indicator when this mode is active. The unit cycles through data from Channels 1, 2 and 3 every 5 seconds. Simply press the channel button once to exit cycle mode.
